Autumn Winter 2009

Automatic Listening (December)

Commissioned by FirstSite Gallery documenting their '15 Artists, 15 Days' programme. (in collaboration with Stuart Bowditch). 'Automatic Listening' involves placing ourselves at a distance from the recording location, streaming sounds via a hacked VOiP connection, aiming to make sense of the disconnection of place and outcome. We remotely recorded 1 hour segments of each of the fifteen one-day residencies and will edit these into a finished soundpiece for publication on the Firstsite website in 2010. See Automatic Listening.

12th-13 September

The original VibeCube was shown alongside VibeCubeC at Cuckoo Farm Studios. See Vibe³, and Outside09 for more information

14th August - 20th September, Outside09, Cuckoo Farm

Vibe³C (August/September)

Vibe³C is a continuation of the artists work around found sounds and feel sounds. In contrast to their previous commissioned work, Vibe³ (Vibe Cube), Vibe³C enables the artists to draw on techniques developed through this work but refract them through the principles of earlier works like AWSoM drawing on recycled and 'low' technologies to be installed and experienced outside, away from conventional gallery settings.
